I got inspired by WP to write a poem on the musical. Actually, it can be used for graduation. Hope you people like it :).

If you had one wish
Just one wish
That would come true
What would you wish for?

If I had one wish
Just one wish
That would come true
I know just what to wish for.

For the times long past
For the joy now lost
For the magical moments
That now seems so distant.

We were but strangers
Walking our own paths
When by fate or chance
We were brought together to dance.

Though unfamiliar at first
We soon grew fonder
The bond we now share
Not mere ionic or covalent.

That night of our life came
We knew things would not be the same
The lights turned down and we were on
The last dance, the last waltz.

The inevitable is now imminent
Our roads would soon be different
Though we will become memories
That is not satisfactory.

Where are we now?
What are we now?
These I silently sigh
That soon reaches the grey sky.

It's like the day we met
Absolute strangers to our fate
Uncertain of our future
In short, nothing sure.

With that one chapter comes to a close
That part now sealed with a rose
Locked deep within our memories
For nothing can bring back history

At least the times were sweet while it lasted.....
